Melody Verot, Co-founder & Director of Research
Melody Verot
"Real change doesn't come from outside, it comes from understanding the people, the context, and the systems already in place. Our role is to listen first, then build alongside the communities we serve."
Melody Verot is the Director of Research and co-founder of Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and an international development consultant with extensive experience across humanitarian evaluation, climate action, and global governance. Fluent across cultures and multilingual in her work, Melody has built her career at the intersection of rigorous research and real-world impact, supporting major institutions including the WHO, UNICEF, UNHCR, and UNDP across projects spanning Africa, the Middle East, and beyond.
Melody's journey to co-founding Entrepreneurial Ecosystems began in Jordan, where she crossed paths with Allie Hart while both were immersed in the region's language and development landscape. The two shared a growing frustration with the limitations of traditional aid and a shared belief that lasting change comes not from dependency, but from building local economic agency. That conviction became the foundation of Entrepreneurial Ecosystems.
Through her consultancy, Accomplir Consulting, Melody has led and contributed to high-stakes evaluations for some of the world's most prominent multilateral institutions, including formative evaluations of the WHO's Global Health Cluster and its Member State Mechanism on substandard and falsified medical products. Her work demands precision, cross-cultural sensitivity, and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insight.
She also brings a strong track record in climate and sustainability, having spent nearly three years as a junior project manager with The Climate Action Accelerator, where she helped five partner organizations develop roadmaps to cut CO2 emissions by 50% by 2030.
As Director of Research at Entrepreneurial Ecosystems, Melody brings that same analytical rigor and institutional depth to bear on a mission she helped create, building economic systems that generate lasting opportunity from the ground up.
